Arts Resources Center Check-Out and Check-In Procedures

Any Denver Public School contract teacher may check out items.

  • Check-out forms are available on the Teacher Support Forms page, or here: Arts Resource Check-Out form (PDF or Word).
  • The center works on a first-come, first-serve basis. Materials are catalogued and inventoried for your convenience.
  • You may call or visit to check material availability, but schedule an appointment to ensure assistance.
  • Musical instruments are checked out for one full school year. Instruments are to be returned to the Music Resource Center before the end of the school year. For any exceptions to this policy, you must contact the center at 720-423-8112.
  • Books and sheet music are checked out for one month only. Remember, many teachers are waiting to use these materials.
  • Materials are checked out for school or office use only. No personal use is allowed.
  • Materials will not be delivered to schools; they must be picked up in person.
  • Do not transfer items checked out in your name to another person in your building or office. You are responsible for the care and return of checked-out materials.
  • If you are leaving, retiring, resigning, or transferring, you are still responsible for returning the materials.
  • If no one is present when returning materials, leave them with your name and your school name attached. Otherwise, the center doesn’t know who returned them, and the record will show they have not been returned.
