works on a first-come, first-serve basis. Materials are in the process of
being catalogued, but no inventory currently exists. You may call or visit
to check material availability.

Check-Out and Check-In Procedures
-
Any Denver Public School contract
teacher may check out items.
-
Check-out forms are available on the
General Resources page, under
Forms.
-
Please schedule an appointment to
ensure assistance.
- Musical instruments are checked out
for one full school year. The instruments are to be returned to the Arts
Resource Center before the end of the school year. For any exceptions to
this policy, you must contact the center at 720-423-8112.
- Records, tapes, CDs, books, and
sheet music are checked out for one semester only. Remember, many teachers
are waiting to use these materials.
- Materials are checked out for
school or office use only. No personal use is allowed.
- Do not transfer items checked out
in your name to another person in your building or office. You are
responsible for the care and return of checked-out materials.
- If you are leaving, retiring,
resigning, or transferring, you are still responsible for returning the
materials.
- If no one is present when returning
materials, leave them with your name and your school name attached.
Otherwise, the center doesn’t know who returned them, and the record will
show they have not been returned.
Policies
Overdue Materials
Overdue notices will be sent as a
reminder to return materials.
Please return items when due, which
allows them to circulate through the district and works to everyone’s
advantage.
Lost or Stolen Items
When an item is lost, the teacher
and/or school are responsible for replacing it. If an instrument is stolen,
the information will be reported to DPS Security and the superintendent for
appropriate action.
Broken Items
Do not discard broken items. Place
all pieces of the item in a box and deliver to the center. At this time, it
will be determined if the item is repairable.
Never attempt to repair items
yourself. Again, please return everything to the center for repair.
