Welcome to the secondary social studies home page! Our social studies courses are designed to empower students to become effective global citizens by providing them with opportunities to practice and master the skills and habits of thinking that are unique to each of the social science disciplines. At the secondary level, students engage in disciplinary thinking and problem-solving in a wide array of social studies courses. The required courses at the secondary level are as follows:
