Program Goals

As a world languages department, we advocate diverse learning opportunities at all levels. We develop, support, and promote language skills of heritage language learners. Through differentiation and attention to varied learning styles and backgrounds of our population, we provide opportunities for students to acquire additional languages. Through acquisition of new languages, students gain the ability to communicate with other people and understand the varied cultures that make up our global community.
