Welcome to our Web site! We are delighted you are interested in our science program. Our program's goal is to get your child excited about how science helps explain what is happening in, on, and around our earth.

Studying science is important because we live in a technical world. When your child eventually goes to work for a living, he or she will have an advantage from studying science. It offers your child opportunities to develop skills that businesses look for and skills that will help your child in day-to-day life: investigate problems and solve them; notice similarities and differences among things; and observe how things come into being, move, change, and evolve.

But best of all, we think science is important because it encourages your child to be curious! Through curiosity, your child will want to learn more and more.

You will find a lot of helpful information here. Click on your child’s grade level to the right to look at what your child’s science instruction is all about and find out how you can help your child learn to become more interested in science.
