Earth Science

EarthComm was developed by earth science experts and addresses the National Science Education Standards. It works with both block and traditional schedules and is designed for use in heterogeneous classes, providing access for all students.

EarthComm emphasizes important concepts, understandings, and abilities that all students can use to make wise decisions, think critically, and understand and appreciate Earth systems: the atmosphere, biosphere, geosphere, and hydrosphere.

EarthComm offers five modules—each containing three stand-alone chapters connected to a common theme. Each chapter begins with a community-based problem or issue that can only be solved by developing key ideas and understandings in the chapter activities. Chapters are mixed and matched to create exactly the right program.
