The Induction Check tool allows you to check the data in our database about your progress in the New Teacher Induction Program.
Curriculum Matrices, created by Denver Public School teachers, are a great resource to learn how what is taught in DPS relates to state standards.
The Professional Development section is a great area to learn about all professional development offered by the Teaching and Learning Department and provides links to other pages and departments. Although we offer two-hour professional development sessions designed specifically for new teachers, new teachers are welcome to attend any professional development session they wish.
The Online Employee Phone Directory offers a way to look up contact information of anyone who works at DPS.

Denver Public Schools does not administer teacher licensing, so it is a good idea for new teachers to understand how licensing works by looking at the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Web site. For example, after three years of teaching, a teacher with a provisional licence is required to apply for their professional teaching license. New teachers can download applications from the CDE applications Web site to learn more.
