Mentor Resources

This page provides resources for mentors. The Induction Program is designed to support mentors by providing leadership opportunities, quality professional development sessions, throughout each semester. At the end of each semester, mentors receive a stipend for their leadership efforts - these stipends will be forfeited if all documentation is not received by the FINAL deadline of June 5, 2008.

Mentor Job Description

Mentors at Denver Public Schools are leaders in their profession; they are aware of mentee needs and personally take on their success. Furthermore, a mentor at Denver Public Schools:

Mentor Requirements

Being a mentor includes certain commitments to ensure the success of the Induction Program.

Mentor Stipend Rates

Mentors receive a stipend at the end of each semester after they submit their Mentor Log Worksheets documenting at least 20 hours and Mentor Reflection Worksheets. Stipend rates depend on how many mentees were mentored in each semester.
