| Front Range BOCES and University of Colorado at Denver Teacher Leadership Certificate | Aspiring teacher leaders | Ongoing, starting August 25, 2007 | For more information, see brochure or publication (PDF) or visit the Front Range BOCES Web site. Registration is available on the site as well. The goals of the Teacher Leadership Certificate are to increase student achievement through increasing teachers' knowledge, skills, and aspirations and develop more teacher leaders in Colorado. The intention is to provide a Teacher Leader Certificate as an additional path for teachers to gain knowledge, skill, and recognition. The certificate (pending final UCDHSC approval) will consist of nine semester hours of graduate credit through the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center. |

| Texts and Contexts 2007 Japan Study Tour | Colorado elementary educators | Offered by Program for Teaching East Asia (TEA) at the University of Colorado Applications are no longer being accepted for the 2007 CCTEA study tour. Contact Catherine Ishida, Japan Project Coordinator, at catherine.ishida@colorado.edu or 303-735-5128 with questions. The 18-day study tour to Japan is paid for through grant money with only a $1400 cost share by participants. |
