Internal Professional Development

District professional development is based on a two-year survey where teachers identified pressing needs to improve their classroom instruction. The district-sponsored interdisciplinary modules are designed for K–12 arts teachers and instructional specialists and highly recommended for teachers new to the district or as refresher courses. Five workshops of 2 hours each include general principles, curricular guidelines, and classroom application. These sessions are available for Pro Comp/PDU, recertification, and license renewal. To register for these district-sponsored professional development opportunities, visit the professional development registration system.
