Dora Lee Bruce

I have been with the district since 1986 as a secretary, bookkeeper, and requisition clerk. I worked at State Bank’s Trust Department for 15 years, working with brokers and investors, processing dividends and shares for the customers. For two years, I was a building coordinator for the City of Lakewood, arranging meetings for both city and non-city employees. I was hired at DPS to work with students, faculty, and parents. With my experience as an executive secretary, I feel I can help the department in all types of ways. After observing the presentation at the elementary literacy trainings, my goal now is to return to school, continue my education, and receive a degree in elementary education.
