I have been a staff developer for Denver Public Schools for almost 20 years, conducting inservices and facilitating study groups to help teachers support students in becoming independent readers and writers. As an elementary literacy coordinator, I work with central coordinators and literacy specialists to create a comprehensive professional development plan, so literacy coaches can support the implementation of the DPS literacy program at their schools.
