I have been with Denver Public
Schools for more than a decade—the past few years, I have been a budget specialist in Career and Technology Education. For four years, I was in the
treasurer’s office at Emily Griffith Opportunity School, where I was night
treasurer. My current main responsibilities are grant accountant, CTE Web
site design and maintenance, and requisitions clerk. I have an accounting
certificate from Emily Griffith Opportunity School and attended Community
College of Denver, where I studied accounting.
