Annette Sills-Brown

Annette Sills-BrownCurrently I work as a ProComp field specialist. Originally from St. Louis, I’ve been with Denver Public Schools for 10 years, but taught for 17, in business technology and law, literacy, entrepreneurship, marketing, staff development in technology, careers, GED, homebound, and alternative education. I am a state certified business marketing teacher, and I have two bachelor’s degrees in business management and business administration and a master’s in curriculum and instruction. I also hold a principal’s license.

I strive to learn new ways to work with people with different personalities, values, and strengths and unique perspectives, who are also extremely smart and talented. I hope to make a significant difference in teachers’ and principals’ lives by developing meaningful Professional Development Units that contribute to students’ achievement and academic development with career earnings attached. I believe knowledge is power and that all children can learn and should be given the opportunity to learn, so they can become productive United States citizens.
