Please note:
- Approximately 10% of the books ordered for 2006–2007 are no longer available. Teachers and librarians are encouraged to work together to identify substitutions from classroom and school libraries. A wiki-site is being developed for teachers and librarians to share suggestions across the district of alternative titles and teaching ideas. Click here for the list of these out-of-print or otherwise unattainable books.
- The Spanish trade books for K–5 Making Meaning have been included on the planning guide material lists, highlighted in blue with a
(MM) after the title. The English trade books for Making Meaning are included in the Making Meaning Classroom Package, which is also on the planning guide material lists.
- Magazine/Periodical Ordering Procedures and Deadlines (updated EBSCO and direct ordering procedures)—The EBSCO ordering procedures document below has an attachment listing Studio Course magazines for middle and high school. EBSCO generates school magazine renewal lists, so they do not have a generic order form comparable to classroom library order forms; each school receives an individualized magazine renewal list. Schools having problems with their renewal lists should contact Alisa Antony at 720-423-8125 or alisa_antony@dpsk12.org or Linda Griffin, district EBSCO representative, at 303-205-7731 or Lgriffin@denver.ebsco.com.
